This week at Eccles Tooling Systems, we received an emergency RFQ from a new customer in the Aerospace industry to produce a RTM tool in a very compressed time frame.
As always, Eccles jumped at the chance of a challenge and in the first 48hrs we have been able to:
- Set the customer up on our system and receive a purchase order
- Carry out tool design buyoff and get approval for manufacturing alterations
- Receive aluminium billets
- Utilise our day and night shifts to get the 2 billets on our machines to slab and start the roughing out of form
with our 10x 5 Axis CNC machines running day and night shifts, we are able to work with customers from all industries on projects large or small to meet the tightest of deadlines.
