Eccles Tooling Systems successfully won a contract to provide complex Resin Transfer Moulding tooling for a Rolls-Royce research and development project. Eccles were involved from the beginning working within an IPT environment closely aligned with the selected tool design company and the suppliers of the carbon fibre preforms and resin injection company.

Eccles project managed the manufacture of the tooling suite, including sub tiers, working through problems as they arose keeping the customer fully informed of progress.

As the project neared completion Eccles welcomed all IPT members on site for the trial fitting of the CFRP preforms and tool buy off.

Eccles were responsive, flexible and customer focused throughout the process and were a pleasure to work with enabling the delivery over a major project within 7 months from concept.
